Neil May

Honorary Chair

Neil’s focus is on making businesses stronger, management more effective and people more successful.

After training in marketing and winning a number of industry and venture capital awards, Neil then moved to a global consultancy and trained in strategy and change management. In parallel, he became an associate lecturer in MBA strategy at one of the UK’s largest business schools. He is a trained executive coach and his work on people development is used as the sole professional services case study in a book on leadership development for HR and training professionals published by Butterworth-Heinemann.

Neil has worked in three of the leading global professional service firms. He has helped leadership teams, on the development of their businesses, on significant mergers and post-merger integration; led the selection and appointment of professional advisers and suppliers; and as a fee earner had responsibility for major client accounts.  He, therefore, understands the challenging dynamics in which professional leaders operate.  He has coached Chairman, CEOs, Practice Area Heads, Deputy Head Teachers and Barristers.
